Amiga CD32
What
can I do with an Amiga CD32?
:The Amiga CD32 was what many people said the Amiga should have
been to start out with. A video game machine. It will play many of the new software titles
that come on CD. If you have the time and the money, it can be expanded into a full A1200
with CD-ROM.
Can
the CD32 run modern software?
Yes, that is as long as
the software is on CD ROM. This is because the CD32
is basically an Amiga 1200 at it's core.
Can
I connect to the Internet?
Yes, there is a serial
port on the unit, so provided you have the hardware and software you need it can be used
on the Internet.
:How do I expand it?
The only expansion I am
aware of is the SX-1 module that will turn your CD32 into a fully functional A1200, with
CD-ROM.
