Different types of monitors:
There are three basic different kinds of monitors categories:
- Analogue RGB
- VGA/SVGA
- Multiscan
Analogue RGB monitors this is the default monitor setting for all Amigas.
VGA/SVGA monitors this is common among 'PC's and have higher refresh rates.
Amigas will require additional hardware to take advantage of these higher refresh rates.
MULTISCAN monitors are special monitors that cover a very broad range of refresh rates. these are generally more expensive as they incoporate the
abilities of both the Analogue RGB features and the VGA/SVGA.
