Workbench Disk: Rexxc Drawer

AREXX is a script language for the Amiga Computers that takes origin from the REXX language for IBM computers.

This language permits programs to communicate each other interactively and to cooperate.

This happens through Message Ports that may be called like other system peripheral devices.

It is possible to write simple script programs that can use system resources and access system functions and Workbench User Interface tools.

This language permits the realization of very powerful cooperative work tools, involving many programs of very different kind in a single, user friendly, development or creative system.

    Sets global halt flag
  • RX
    Launch an ARexx program
  • RXC
    Close resident process
  • RXLIB
    List the currently loaded libraries and function hosts
  • RXSET
    Adds name/value pair to the Clip List
  • TCC
    Close global tracing console
  • TCO
    Open global tracing console
  • TE
    Clears global tracing flag
  • TS
    Start interactive tracing
  • WaitForPort
    Waits 10 secs for port to appear
