Future versions of AmigaWorld will feature "real-time" map display: Maps of any part of the world will be calculated from a set of topographical data and they will be displayed on any screen mode. A beta version of the map plotter as a stand-alone product is already available, it's called "Massive" and can be found in the Aminet drawer "misc/edu".

Features:

• Massive knows all 1998's international borders (unique for the AMIGA!)
• It can flood fill land masses automagically (unique for the AMIGA!)
• Zoom in on the Maldives and you'll know what precision is
• No problem to have the 180� meridian in the middle of a map
• Works with every possible screen mode from 320x200 to 1280x1024
• Reasonably fast
• Price: US$ 0,--

Please note: This is a beta release---rivers, cities and mountains are not included yet, not all display features are implemented and it may well have bugs.

But after all: It does work and there is no similar program that is better. So go and get it!
